Command line options

Command line options can be added to the "Target" of CSI Accelerator shortcut.

/admin or /administrator

This will deliver the user some extra options in forms.

• Enables the change database options in the connection manager.
• Enables the authorization to upgrade databases to a new version.

Warning: If the admin option is not active the user won't be able to upgrade databases to a newer version.

• Enables the merge master data lists checkbox when importing queries.
• Enables the active user authorization overwrite functionality (only together with the user management authorization)
• Enables the use of SQL Xchange from the file menu.

/nocustomnames

This startup parameter prevents the connection manager from getting the concept names of all databases.
The connection manager shows the standard database names instead.

Tip:
Use this parameter if you have a lot of concepts, or concepts with the same concept name (versions).

/server <servername>

Provide connection manager with a server name (= <servername>)

/database <databasename> or /db <databasename>

Starting CSI Accelerator with this startup parameters will directly (try to) connect to the provided database (<databasename>)


This option only works when connecting automatically, if the database does not exist the connection manager will be displayed and an error message is shown.

/user <username>

Skip logon window and connect with the parsed user. (= <username>)

/password <password> or /userpwd <password> or /pwd <password>

Skip logon window and connect with parsed user + user password.

/nologging or /nolog

Don't do any logging of error messages or warning or info messages.

/RunAsService or /Service

Run Accelerator as a Task Scheduler service.
